The Military Consulting Agency (MCA) was a newly founded Korean organisation that focuses on supporting members of the Korean society in relation to the military. Their goal is to provide council for youths about any of their questions regarding their service time, therapeutical sessions for former soldiers suffering PTSD or family members that might have lost someone in the war. As well as provide training for anyone who wishes to help the aforementioned people.

As they were completely new, they needed our help in creating a brand. In a team of two, I stood as art director, helping create the logotype and general branding.

We started the project off with a brainstorming session to find at least 3 keywords that would best encapsulate the general feeling of the client.

We arrived at MilitaryCounseling and Better Future.

From these keywords we started extracting the brand colours. We wanted something that represented a military organisation, but more importantly would feel warm and welcoming.

When we had our keywords and colours ready, we started our logo creation. We started off with simple paper sketches to try and come up with as many different variations as possible and then scaled down as we started transferring ideas digitally.

This is the finalised logo.  The icon is represented by three key points: an M for Military, two hands that are interlocked in agreement and two people meeting.
