DailyUI 022 – Search

Overall there’s not much to say here. Continuing on the trend of using illustrations, I made a quick magnifying icon to represent the search. I initially wanted to have a background as well, but I completely skipped that as I didn’t really find any design that fit the vision I had.

From the very start I wanted something simple, and I went with a two-toned style using complementary colours. The search bar was a sort of after-thought, but it is kind of how I envisioned this design to be anyway. So far, Illustrator has been treating me well.

It’s still a bit difficult to style everything the exact way I want it in the way I could in Photoshop, but I’ll get there eventually I think.

Short one this time. Oh well.
